Job Description

The modeling analyst/manager will be responsible for:

• Developing, implementing, and maintaining statistical models, segmentation strategies, and other advanced analytical techniques.

• Areas of focus could include risk and/or marketing areas for acquisitions and/or portfolio.

• Perform data extraction and statistical analyses using logistic regression, multiple regression, CART, multivariate analysis and sampling.

• Prepare statistical analyses using tools such as SAS and SPlus statistical software and present the results of their analyses through PowerPoint, Word, and Excel documents.

• Maintaining client interactions and, depending on experience, may have management responsibility for one or more direct reports.

Qualifications

Qualifications include:

• MS or PhD in Statistics, Econometrics, Operations Research (or equivalent quantitative field).

• Minimum 1 years experience in statistical modeling and ability to utilize various modeling techniques (i.e. regression, clustering, experimental design) - financial industry background preferred.

• Proven record to contribute as a strong team player in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, diverse environment.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Written and oral communication skills to clearly present analytical findings and make business recommendations via the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Experienced programming knowledge in both SAS and SQL, Operating systems experience with UNIX and relational database knowledge such as ORACLE.
